The Bowmanville United Soccer Club (“BUSC”) is gearing up for its 45th season in offering an exceptional house league soccer experience for approximately 1000 players within Bowmanville and we would love for you to join us as a 2023 League Sponsor. 

 

On behalf of the children, parents, and league volunteers we would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to our Sponsors for their support during the 2023 soccer season.  We hope for continued support from last season’s sponsors and we would love to welcome new sponsors to become part of our soccer community.

 

The BUSC is a community based, not for profit organization that is administered by volunteers from within Bowmanville.  The BUSC program encompasses players from the age of 5-19 years where our emphasis is on development, progress and enjoyment while ensuring equal field time for everyone regardless of skill.   Offering a quality soccer experience for players in Bowmanville comes at a cost and in order to keep the player registration fees at a reasonable rate we seek sponsorship support from local businesses in and around our community to help offset the rising costs of youth soccer.  

 

What does a Sponsor receive from the experience?

BUSC sponsors receive exposure and recognition as a result of their sponsorship in a number of ways. 

 

·         Each sponsor will be assigned to a team within the league.  The Sponsor’s name and logo (if applicable) will appear on the front of the team’s jerseys and the team will be referred to by the Sponsor’s name throughout the season which runs from May through to September each year.

·         Each Sponsor will also be featured on the main page of our website, as well as listed in our Sponsor tab. We are happy to promote any offers you are willing to give to the players on your sponsored team or to the BUSC players as a whole.

·         Teams are encouraged to submit articles and photos to local newspapers updating the community on their team’s progress throughout the season thereby creating written exposure for our Sponsors within the community.

·         At the end of the season, players are able to keep their team jersey and many players wear these jerseys with the Sponsor’s name affixed well after the soccer season ends thereby extending exposure of the Sponsor’s name in the community outside of the soccer pitch.

·         Sponsors receive a Sponsor Thank You Plaque that includes a team photo for Sponsors to display in their place of business as an acknowledgement and recognition of their community support of house soccer in Bowmanville. 

·         Also, most Sponsors are able to utilize the Sponsorship dollars spent as an income tax deduction at tax time. 

 

How can you become a Sponsor?

The process of becoming a BUSC Sponsor is very simple.  Firstly, Sponsors will need to complete the attached Sponsorship Agreement form and return it to the BUSC.  Sponsors can submit the Agreement in either of the following ways: 

 

·         mail to our mailing address 62 Lawrence Cresc, Bowmanville, Ontario, L1C1J5

 

·         send via email to our Sponsorship Coordinator Dawar Taylor - [email protected]

 

Once the BUSC receives the Sponsorship Agreement we will enter the selection of your team’s jersey and begin printing your Sponsor name on those jerseys. 

 

Sponsorship payment

Payment for your team(s) sponsorship can be made via cheque when submitting the Sponsorship Agreement and we will in turn provide an official Receipt.  All cheques must be made out to Bowmanville United Soccer Club. Please write BUSC in the Memo portion of your cheque to ensure funds are directed properly.

 

Once we receive the Sponsorship Agreement and Sponsorship funds our volunteers will take care of the remaining details to ensure that your team is ready to take to the pitch in May.
