Outdoor 2021 Registration is Open
We hope that your families are doing well and staying healthy!

Even though Durham Region has entered the Province Wide Shutdown, the Bowmanville United Soccer Club remains cautiously optimistic that a 2021 season will be possible.  Therefore, we are currently planning for a 2021 season and registration is now open by going to our parent company’s website and clicking on the Registration tab.

Depending on Durham Region Public Health guidelines and restrictions, a 2021 soccer season will depend on the following key factors:

-       Return to Play Phase and Zone for players
-       Number of players and teams in divisions
-       League structure and format of play
-       Availability of fields

We are hoping to be able to start the 2021 soccer season by June, but we cannot guarantee a start or end date at this time.  Until we know what stage of Ontario’s Return to Play we will be in, how many players are returning, the structure of our season and what COVID protocols therefore must be in place we can’t guarantee any scheduling or even if we will be able to safely run our program. We are hoping to have this information to all of you as soon as possible so you can make an informed decision.

Please note the following:

~Until players are fully registered (with fees completely paid), all soccer activities are on hold. Players and coaches are not insured until registration is confirmed with Ontario Soccer, team rosters have been issued and the Clarington Region fields are opened.

~Our club is still looking for Volunteer House League Coaches.  Applications and information can be found on the Coaches menu.

The BUSC is in regular communication with Darlington Soccer Club, Durham Region Soccer Association, Ontario Soccer, and Durham Region’s Public Health with regards to the latest COVID-19 information and updates. We understand any concerns you may have because they are our concerns as well.  We will continue to comply and abide by the standards our governing bodies put forth and BUSC will only proceed with our Season when we are advised its safe to proceed. As always we strive to make the best decision for our players and we only want them all to be safe while playing the game we all love. When we have new information, we will send it out via email and/or post it.

We sincerely hope to see all of our players, Coaches, Match Officials, friends and family back in 2021.  Thank you for your support of our Club and please remember to also support our generous sponsors during these challenging times.
